All prices displayed are in AUD and include GST.
All Sitebuilder websites receive a free design preview as part of the client intake process, these are provided with no obligation to take on a Sitebuilder Subscription.
All Sitebuilder web design projects require the setup a monthly subscription for the design work to continue past the free design preview, this will also allow for the purchase/transfer of any included domains required for the website to go live. Email accounts can also be setup after the domain purchase and be put in place even before the website is live.
Updating the theme requires a client to be on the latest version of Sitebuilder, a free theme redesign will be optionally included every 24 months as part of your subscription if you want a refresh.
Extra Domain Renewals (if not included in the subscription) can be charged as an optional extra small monthly fee and renewed when they are due.
Otherwise extra domains will be charged automatically upon expiry if you hold an existing Sitebuilder subscription, as you receive expiry notifications, it is always assumed you wish to have your website and service remain uninterrupted unless I am otherwise told to cancel the service, clients will be notified when domains are due via email.
I use Sitebuilder with a secure connection to Stripe to process card transactions.
Stripe uses best-in-class security practices to maintain a high level of security.
All browsers interact with Stripe over HTTPS and all transactions are encrypted.

Outstanding Payments
Monthly Subscriptions
If no subscription payment has been received 14 days after a monthly payment is due the website will be suspended until payment is made.
If no subscription payment has been received 30 days after a monthly payment is due the website and email hosting will be suspended until payment is made.
Yearly Subscriptions
If no subscription payment has been received 30 days after a yearly payment is due the website and email hosting will be suspended or cancelled until payment is made.
Payment Extensions
You can let me know if you need an extension and I can work something out for you, however to qualify for an extension please be in communication before the suspension time frames.
Automatic Cancelation
If you have not been in contact or have not asked for an extension and no payment has been made your subscription will cancelled at 60 days and will not be resumed until payment is caught up and restarted.
Web Design Credit / Backlink
All Sitebuilder websites will include a "Designed by Jon Web Design" credit link with a small logo in the footer of every page. These links are designed to be subtle and unobtrusive, blending seamlessly into your website's overall theme.
This credit link is non-negotiable. By hiring Jon Web Design to design and maintain your website, you agree to its inclusion, and you may not remove the link.
Why This Credit Link Is Included
By associating my business name with your website, I am committed to providing ongoing updates and support to ensure your site remains functional, professional, and up to the highest standards. Your success reflects on my work, and I strive to maintain the best possible service.
No Impact on SEO & Website Navigation
- These credit links are set as "nofollow", meaning they do not impact SEO rankings—neither boosting Jon Web Design’s website nor affecting your site’s search engine performance.
- They are designed to open in a new tab, ensuring visitors who click the link are not navigated away from your website.
Default Admin & Webmail Quick Links
By default, I also include small convenient quick links in your footer:
- Admin Login – For easy access to your Sitebuilder Dashboard.
- Webmail – If you have purchased Email Hosting or have email hosting linked to your service, this provides direct access to your emails webmail interface.
These can be removed upon request if you prefer not to have them.
Optional Referral Program
If you would like to earn money from referrals, the credit link url can be updated to a personalized referral url instead.

Copyright & Ownership
Websites built using Sitebuilder cannot be transferred to other hosting services. By subscribing to Sitebuilder, you are paying for access to the platform along with unlimited hosting. However, we can seamlessly integrate your website with your existing or preferred email services rather than the email Jon Web Design can provide.
Intellectual Property & Design Usage
- Unauthorized Use of Free Preview Designs
Free Preview Designs may not be used to create your own website or provided to another designer for use in their project. Jon Web Design will take legal action against any individual or company that misuses or steals its design property.
- Resale & Reuse of Unpaid or Unaccepted Designs
Jon Web Design reserves the right to resell custom-designed websites that remain unpaid by the original client, as well as unaccepted mockups or other graphics that were created but not legally in use by the client.
- Stock Media Licensing
Jon Web Design provides access to royalty-free stock photos, videos, icons, and fonts available within the Sitebuilder Editor. However, clients do not receive ownership rights over these assets.
- Portfolio & Marketing Use
Jon Web Design reserves the right to showcase websites and graphics designed for its clients in its portfolio and marketing materials as examples of its work.
Refunds & Chargebacks
My payment policies are clearly outlined below. All clients are required to read and agree to my Terms of Service before starting any subscription.
Refund Policy
I offer a 90-day, 100% money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied with my service after starting your project, you may request a full refund for any payments made in the last 90 days. I am confident in the quality of my service and support, and I will do everything possible to ensure your satisfaction.
However, refunds will not be issued to clients who simply no longer need their website, email, or domain services. If you need to cancel your website and subscription, please refer to the Cancellation Policy below.
What Happens After a Refund?
- Your website and subscription will be suspended immediately and cannot be transferred to another hosting company.
- Any email accounts associated with the subscription will be shut down within 30 days, giving you time to back up data or set up an email-only subscription.
- Any domains registered with Jon Web Design will no longer be automatically renewed. You will receive renewal notifications and can choose to transfer them to another registrar or renew them with us.
Resuming Your Subscription
If you wish to resume the service at any time, simply request to set up a new subscription, and your website will be unsuspended. Any email accounts will be recreated, but emails stored previously may be lost if more than 30 days have passed.
Chargeback Policy
Jon Web Design does not negotiate chargebacks with any individual or company. If a chargeback is initiated, an invoice will be issued for the missing funds, and your service will be suspended until repayment is made
Cancellations
If you wish to cancel your Sitebuilder website and subscription, please book a call or send a request to jon@jonwebdesign.com.au from the account holder’s email (the email used to sign up for the subscription). For security reasons, we cannot accept cancellation requests from other email accounts.
To avoid being billed for the next month, cancellation requests must be submitted before the 1st of the next month. If your request is received on time but not processed until the new month, any additional charges will be refunded.
What Happens After Cancellation?
- Your website and subscription will be suspended at the end of the current month and cannot be transferred to another hosting company.
- Any email accounts associated with the subscription will be shut down within 30 days, allowing you time to back up data or set up an email-only subscription.
- You will still have at least 30 days of access to the editor to recover your images, videos, and text content. However, during this period, you will not be able to publish the website. Extensions may be negotiated if needed.
- Domain purchases and renewals are non-refundable once paid. If you registered a domain with Jon Web Design as part of your subscription, automatic renewal will stop after cancellation. You will receive notifications when your domain is due for renewal, and you may choose to transfer it to another registrar or renew it with us. Free domain redirection and email forwarding are available upon request.
Resuming Your Subscription
If you decide to resume your service at any time, simply re-subscribe, and your website will be unsuspended. Any associated email accounts will be recreated, but emails stored previously may be lost if more than 30 days have passed.
Development & Delivery
Once all necessary information is received, we will provide a project timeline. In most cases, projects with all information received are normally completed within 1-2 weeks, depending on our current workload.
At Jon Web Design, we understand the importance of completing projects on time. We strive to finish every project as quickly as possible and commit to completing the web design project within a maximum of 60 days from the date all required information is provided, unless otherwise stated or negotiated.
Client Responsibilities
The client agrees to provide all required text, graphic content, and other requested materials via the collection form or email within 30 days of the subscription start date unless otherwise negotiated. The client is responsible for the timely submission of all necessary information.
Subscription Pauses & Refund Requests for Client Delays
Subscription refunds are not available due to delays caused by the client, including untimely information delivery. However, if an unforeseen delay occurs, we can pause the subscription upon request so you are not charged for the time provided the website or email accounts are not yet live.
Project Cancellation Due to Lack of Communication
If we are unable to reach the client via phone or email for at least 60 days during the design and development process, the project will be considered canceled, and any associated subscription services will be suspended until such time a client gets in touch.
Updates and Edits
At Jon Web Design, we empower our clients to manage their websites efficiently. Included in your support package, we provide training to help you perform day-to-day edits confidently. You may also request more complex edits via the comment tool if they fit within your one hour of included monthly support.
For requests that fall outside your subscription’s scope, we will provide a separate quote for additional work or features.
Editing Modes
Clients can be granted one of three editing access levels:
1. Comment Only Mode
- View-only access in the editor.
- Ability to request changes using the built-in comment tool.
- Option to upload pictures and files for support-assisted updates.
2. Limited Editing Mode
- Edit existing content and widgets but cannot add/delete pages or widgets.
- Designed for simpler websites to minimize errors.
- Access to the comment tool for structural change requests.
3. Full Editing Mode
- Full access to add, delete, and modify content, widgets, and pages.
- Suitable for advanced websites requiring frequent custom updates.
- Requires additional training beyond the initial session.
Note: All websites start in Comment Only Mode during collaboration and approval phases.
Editing permissions are granted after at least one training session and confirmation of sufficient proficiency.
Temporary Restriction of Editing Privileges
To maintain website quality and reduce support workload, Jon Web Design may temporarily revert a client to Comment Only Mode if:
- Repeated mistakes or excessive support requests occur despite prior training.
- The live site is published with unfinished or broken content, negatively impacting user experience and traffic.
- Key content, elements, or structure are deleted or broken, requiring significant repair or rollback.
If editing privileges are restricted you will be notified by email and you can restore access by scheduling additional training, which is included at no extra cost.
This policy protects your business and ensures your website remains functional and user-friendly. We prioritize teaching you the best editing practices over fixing avoidable mistakes.

Liability
Services and Platforms purchased from Jon Web Design are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind that the service will be uninterrupted or error free.
Jon Web Design uses the best-in-class services and platforms available which provide a excellent 99.9% uptime coverage for which updates and maintenance are provided by there respective providers and are include under a subscription, if any unlikely issue were to occur Jon Web Design support will do everything in their power to correct it including reaching out to the respective providers for support.
In no event shall Jon Web Design be liable to the client for any direct, indirect, special, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of the use of the website, hosting, email & domain services, and/or goods provided to the client.
This includes, without limitation, lost profits, business interruption, loss of data or other losses directly resulting from the use of the website, hosting & domain services and/or goods provided to the client.
Project Consideration
Please note that Jon Web Design will not accept projects that are found to be morally questionable, unethical, or distasteful.
This is non-negotiable.
Acceptance
By starting a subscription for my services you are agreeing to all of the terms of service as written here along with our Privacy Policy.
Jon Web Design reserves the right to change or update these terms at any time without prior notice.
