Times Up - Sitebuilder Legacy Now Discontinued
Jon Web Design announced a brand new and improved version of Sitebuilder and the Retirement of older subscriptions (now called Sitebuilder Legacy) back in April 2021, this update was also sent out to all existing clients via email!
This new version of Sitebuilder has been redesigned from the ground up using the latest web technology's for speed and ease of use! Its a massive leap forward from the previous version and has had plenty of great updates since then in regards to speed and features since its first announcement!
The vast majority of my clients now are on the Latest Sitebuilder Subscriptions and are seeing the benefits of the new editor. All of my new clients websites since April 2021 have been built with the new Sitebuilder Platform and no update is required.
I have been more than impressed with the new version and I know you and your visitors will be too!
"When and how will my Site be updated?"
If you move ahead with migration your website this month your website will be updated as soon as possible, since the new version is built on different newer web technologies there is no direct automatic upgrade available between the two versions, however I do have a migration plan in place for all existing and new clients! Simply get in touch with me about which of the three options below you wish to take!

"What happens now if I haven't upgraded yet?"
If you are on the legacy version of Sitebuilder Standard and Sitebuilder Ecommerce time has runout.
Support and updates for the now legacy versions ended on
January 1st 2023 as announced.
Sitebuilder Standard and Basic will not allow edits past 2023 and Sitebuilder Ecommerce will only allow basic edits and product sales, no theme updates available. Sitebuilder Ecommerce has an extra 18 months and will then be shut down to give clients with lots of products and sales more time to move.
If your on a version that is phased out to the legacy status, you will be contacted for migration along with offered a discount for the first 6 months and its It is highly recommended to let me upgrade you to the new version so you can avoid being stuck without updates or editing as there is nothing that can be done to stop the shut down of the older version.
